COOKING HOLIDAY

Las chimeneas, SPAIN

12 - 19 April ‘25

5 - 12 October ‘25

After four sold out cooking holidays in Spain and a feature in The Times Food and Travel and Spectator Life magazine we are back with David and Emma at Las Chimeneas in the beautiful Alpujarras mountains in Andalucia, Spain.

Upon your arrival in Spain, you will be welcomed with a delicious Moorish feast prepared by us. The Moorish influence on Spanish cuisine is evident in the vibrant spices and sweet-savoury combinations that define many traditional dishes. Throughout the week, you’ll immerse yourself in authentic Spanish cooking with four hands-on cookery classes and one cooking demonstration. All other meals on this cooking holiday will be lovingly prepared by Conchi and her talented team here at Las Chimeneas.

Interspersed with the cooking lessons will be walking, a day out to Mercado San Agustin in Granada, a trip to our local jamon producer and silk weaver, and a chance to visit the Alhambra. No trip to Spain would be complete without a glass of sherry, and you’ll have the chance to indulge in a sherry tasting during your stay.

With Henry’s experience as head chef of London’s Moro restaurant, there couldn’t be a better way to learn about the history and flavours of Andalucia and its Moorish cuisine. Wake up every morning with stunning views of the Sierra Nevada in a small Spanish mountain village, the sun shining and the sound of birds singing. This cooking holiday is all about connecting through food, making friends and soaking up the Spanish sunshine.
